Yesterday I pretty much stayed inside until it got dark. The result is that this morning, my sunburn looks and feels much much better.
Last night in the hostel I met some cool Aussies from Cairns (Oryan, Jemma, a couple others but you know how bad I am with names). I’m waiting here in Port Douglas to get my Treo cell phone mailed to me from Melbourne, but once that’s taken care of, I’ll be off to Cairns for a few days and these guys are going to show me around and take me out to the Atherton Tablelands (i.e. the bush). Pretty exciting stuff.

I love your bogger! You really seem to be making to most of your trip and I can’t wait for you to come home to tell me more. I’m in NYC and have a weekend house in Saratoga for the summer.
