The past week has passed so quickly. Friday, as I mentioned, was my last day of work. 20 of my colleagues and I went for a 2-hour farewell lunch at Nakama, a new-ish Japanese steakhouse that also has sushi. I ate like a king and also made myself cry with a double-portion of wasabi mixed into soy sauce. I love wasabi.
Back at work, I finished cleaning up, said some goodbyes, and downed a 3-year-old can of Guinness. Rob Shields will have to do the same next month… heh heh heh. Happy hour was fun but brief. Jess and I proceeded to drive up to the Tepper welcome weekend, where there was more drinking and socializing followed by more drinking and socializing at Doc’s Place in Shadyside. Needless to say, Friday was a long day.
Saturday was more of the same… Tepper welcome weekend continued, I learned a bit about the entrepreneurship stuff, socialized, and met some cool classmates. Saturday night I threw a pretty big party with some help from F. Dok Harris, Mike Kummer, and Jess. That went until 4:30am. Every day since then has been pretty lazy. I went golfing at North Park Golf Course with Mike Bummer and then got to see his new house. And I was wrong about Dance Dance Revolution. It may be dorky but it is FUN.
Today I got a new pair of Rainbow sandals and a haircut. I stopped shaving on Sunday and the beard is beginning to come along now.
Hopefully I will soon figure out how to post photos to this thing.
